The way we care for the environment

Surrounded with plastic, metal and glass every day, you long for nature and all that is primeval, true and immemorial. And that is what wood is like, and that’s where its magic lies.

Made of 100% wood, the Baltic Wood products are a natural decoration
of both private spaces and public facilities. We are acutely aware that
an uncontrollable exploitation of nature can pose a great threat to the natural environment. Consequently, we care for it, implementing a number of improvements for the sake of comprehensive conservation. 

What we do?

I. In all the areas of our activity we bear in mind the natural environment and so we use:

• certified material acquired from monitored forest cutting
• safe technology (acrylic glues and varnishes)
• 100% waste sorting
• recycling of industrial waste in accordance with applicable regulations
• recycling of packaging material

II. The guidelines on our pro-environmental activity are outlined by the Environmental Policy and the aims annually settled for. All this is in accordance with the ISO 14001:2004 standard, which in turn is based
on the “plan-implement-revise-act” strategy.


III. We provide a permanent environmental education service. Its slogan
is “Be eco-LOGICAL” and it emphasises the 3R scheme (reduce, reuse, recycle):

• do not use (if it’s only possible)
• use (only thoughtfully and when necessary)
• recover (if it’s only possible) and recycle (everything that may be hazardous to the environment)
